19世紀末至20世紀初期，隨著美國夢在歐洲的盛行，造成了美國湧入大量移民潮，而報童帽也在這時傳入了美國

在此時期不論是上流社會的紳士或是藍領階級的工人，都普遍配戴著這種帽款，

尤其在1910年代至1930年代的工人階層中更是如此


此帽型是以老式報童帽改製成八片式貝雷帽，在配戴上更接近老式報童帽反戴的風格

布料使用人字紋西裝布，讓帽型在配戴上更為挺拔且不易產生皺摺
